Re: Pop up ads on the wiki.....
Just for some alternate input, I disabled Firefox's native pop-up blocker, disabled the AdBlock Plus add-on, and disabled NoScript and began clicking around the wiki. No pop-ups at all. So I have two possible solutions: 1. Spiff fixed the problem, or 2. You may have some malware on your computer. We...

Re: 2010 Talk Like a Pirate Day Sticker
I think stickers should be reserved to select annual events (like Yule and account anniversaries) and prominent one-time events (like Beta release, first-time donations, and Gobb's "court-order-is-finally-lifted" day(s). If there are stickers offered for nearly every real-life event or holiday, ther...

Re: 'til vs. till
A very interesting link, Gobb. Thank you. So it appears that till is just in fact a very, very, very old version of until , and 'til is a more recent abbreviation of it. So despite the fact that I think it looks incorrect, it technically still is. Still, it would be nice if it would stop being used....

I drink fairly often. And when I've been drinking, sometimes when I chat, I lose a few letters (or keystrokes. lol) So I was thinking. 'til vs. till
For as long as I've been writing, if I ever had to abbreviate the word "until," I would do it as "'til" instead of the seemingly more popular method of "till." The reason for this is because the "un" is removed and replaced with an apostrophe. This is the same logical truncation that is made with ne...

First of all, I have to admit that this is a mostly true story. I have exaggerated and embellished a few of the more mundane points to make it just a little bit more interesting. I don't know how the dev team will react, but I'll give my personal opinion. First off, I apologize to mack for completely stealing his thread. Re: Skills listed by remaining duration
Here's an idea: How about a little progress bar under the effect that shows the approximate percentage of remaining turns. For example, say you have 200 turns remaining to play and you have 100 turns of any particular effect, there would be a bar filled to the 50% mark. And, after you adventured for...

Not to sound like I'm making excuses to not do some spading, but would it be a good idea first to make sure those drop rates will remain the same after Beta is released?
