Gazebo Killing

Unread post by levi_will » Sat Jun 06, 2009 8:25 am

After playing this game for day 2, i have encountered a monster that just begs "KILL ME". Yes, I'm talking about the dread gazebo.

MrsOraptor and Right2Wrong2000 have helped me form some ideas to kill this monstrosity.

-Get an axe and chop it down (pick axe doesn't work sadly)
-Get fire to destroy it (The only hot weapon doesn't work either)
-Fuse the axe and the hot weapon and destroy it (nope)
- Use a nuclear strike
- Just run away (No I want to kill it)

Has anyone have ideas how to kill this monster? I want to destroy it though, so wish me luck on this.

Note: I know you must run away. But I stake my soul that I will kill this Demon.

I know that there is an item that is in the item database and on the wiki called the Fireman's Axe. Think about it... FIREman's Axe. That screams Gazebo death to me...! Maybe if you shot a pm by Gobb he could help you flesh out the idea. Maybe even help you get your hands on one!

Look for outlets, or a hot spots near and or on said gazebo...electronics have a bad habit of shorting out and causing fires ;)

I once heard of a guy who attempted to take out a gazebo with an arrow. As you can imagine, he was quite unsuccessful. But then again...maybe he just used the wrong kind of arrow...?

Sadly, I have the answer to this entire gazebo destroying mess (as I have dealt with it before and succeeded).

However, I have been asked by the Dev Team not to spoiler the answer. Sorry. Just keep trying new things and I'm sure the answer will come to you.

Before too many iconic relationships to another game are established, I would like to point out that when The Dread Gazebo reference and encounter were first envisioned and implemented by the dev team, we in no way had any parallel to any hermit in mind. Living or Dead.

Read into that what you will.

I fought the law, and the law won.

Oh, we're talking about GAZEBOS, eh? Nevermind.

Could we at least have the gazebo give some kind of consolation prize when we ran away? Like, i don't know... maybe a lucky clover? Or an EXTRALUCKY clover, with more then four leaves!

I am so original and unplagiaristic.

There is already a substantial reward for being unable to kill the Gazebo. Wait til you see what happens when you actually....

nevermind.

And doesn't your remaining HP and TP have to be at 42 as well? That's what I heard.

You don't have to read it if you don't like it invisible. The gazebo is a thing of legend and will be discussed as long as people want to discuss it.
