Since when was the background of the game khaki and not dark blue? I'm a kid. I need answers.

Yeah, the background colour is set when you log on or refresh the page based on the time of day (Paradox time). It's actually done that since almost the first day the site existed, but if you always log on at the same time of day you probably haven't noticed.Elusis wrote:Changes color depending on time of day...Probably.
At some point I'd quite like to make that update every 15 minutes or so, without the need for a page refresh, but it's not a high priority. It's just a bit of pretty fluff
UPDATE: Since I've spent the last three days hacking through thousands of lines of code looking for (and fixing) potential security holes, I decided some pretty fluff was warranted. Once testing in dev is complete, the game will now continuously update the background colour to suit the time of day.
