At this point I've finished the ant quest up to the point where I need to beat the queen, which I'm not strong enough to do. Every other area results in either a one- or two-hit snotectomy.

What are my options? Should I just continue grinding in the gardens until I can take more damage? Obviously I'm not looking to get into the level 5 areas when I can't survive the Long Wood yet; I just want to know what to spend my turns on at this point. (I don't mind grinding.)

I remember getting stuck on it too. Then I do believe someone gave me a taser. To which I then used to quickly dispatch the queen.

I can send a combat item which will let you one shot it if you'd like, but if you want to do it yourself, i'd suggest leveling to level 6 or so.

Of course I appreciate the offer of items from both of you, but I would like to try to get through the game "as intended" the first time, if you know what I mean.

So that said, are the gardens the best place to grind?

Seems like a bridging quest at this point might be helpful.

I thought I might jump in here for a moment, something I don't usually do. We are aware that there are still a few gaps in the quest progressions and are working on rectifying that.

As Elljae mentioned, we're aware there are some gaps which require some tedious grinding in some places. Don't fret, we definitely know about them and have plans to fill in those gaps before beta.
