Just downloaded a time-wasting little game for my Android phone called Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. I didn't like it at first, but after I messed with it a little here and a little there, it actually became quite fun. I'm sure after a few days the novelty of it will wear off and I'll stop playing it, but for now I'll enjoy it.

So... If I now have a new mini-fridge next to my bed stocked with Coors Light does that make me an alcoholic?

Hey! I've got an idea! Instead of just looking to see if there's new posts, reading them, and moving on, why don't you make a quick post saying, "Hey," or, "Yup. I pop in here every now and then to see what's going on." I'd like to know exactly who keeps an eye on these forums.

Don't be shy.

Just post something. You don't need to respond to anything or even expect a response. Just post.

I have been beyond busy at work this year! I have also been super sick for almost 2 weeks now. But I am good. I am playing Dragons of Atlantis: Heir of the Dragons on my ipad and have met some cool people there.
Heading to Phoenix Sunday to see my family for Thanksgiving. I will be taking David to the Lego store too so he can buy some stuff.

That's all for now. I miss and love you guys though!

The cretinous one hides inside the musical pussy cat's luggage, intent on bingeing gluttonously, the moment the Thanksgiving chef looks the other way.

I'm still here!! 'Tis the Christmas (yes, CHRISTMAS to me and not "holiday") season and I'm not on the computer as much as usual.

Cowboy, I hope to have the next section of Pine Haven up maybe after the first of the year. Got chunks here and there of outlines of the story, but nothing contiguous for one particular time frame. Stand by...

It's been a couple years so I decided to pop and and say hello to the friendliest little community I've ever been a part of. Life's been pretty good to me, I'm now in my fourth year of college (five year program) and after the holidays I'll be going on co-op as a tech guy for a health care company. It's my first real job and it pays $20 an hour which is awesome, my very first job is putting my slightly above the average american income.

So how's paradox been? I've logged on a few times over the years hoping to find someone in chat but it's always empty :( Is the game as much of a ghost town as it looks or is there still a small but tight knit community getting on at times other than me? And is beta still supposed to happen or is the game essentially a cancelled project?

I really hope some of you remember who I am so this doesn't just come off as a rant from a lunatic stranger :P

Nice to see you again, darkgamr! Way to go on your schooling and job! That is good news.

Take care!

College is overrated. I have 3 semesters of Electrical Engineering logged and the only thing I have to show for it is about 8k in student loans. I eventually got hired into a trade job that had no extended education requirements. Even if I had gone to college for the full 4 year ride, it wouldn't have meant squat to a career where you basically learn everything as you go.

But all that aside, I do congratulate you on your achievement and I truly hope you excel in your studies. But it just wasn't for me.

Wee!
And double wee!
Merry Christmas fellow Paracites!
The cretinous one dons his Santa Gimp outfit and heads out onto the rainy streets of Cardiff to cwtch unsuspecting jolly jaunters.
Er... I mean... wraps up warm and heads off to join his uncle's family in Caerphilly for Christmas din-dins.

Happy New Year fellow carbon-based lifeforms! I'm hoping to have the next section of Pine Haven up in the next week or so for the few of you that are anticipating it. Got a few ideas/arcs stirring in my head but still nothing concrete yet; be patient.
