As some of you may have known, the player and DJ, Snoopy, had been diagnosed with liver cancer last December.

This past Friday evening, after going out to lunch with him and the Hospice nurses, he finally gave up the battle and passed away.

He was 41 years old, had served six years in the US Navy launching aircraft from the carriers USS Kitty Hawk and USS Nimitz, and I'd known him for the last five years.

He was a very good guy, he was almost always cheerful and in a good mood, and he never once let the cancer get him down... or if it did, he didn't let on and let it show. He'll be missed.

In any case, I just wanted to let people know he'd gone on, and won't be coming around any more.

Here's to you, DJ Snoopy! May you rest in peace. My mum had the Big C, give her a big hug from her little cretin.
