Just thought now might be a good time to let everyone know that all of our accommodation and airfares have been booked and paid for so there is no turning back now.

Our itinerary is listed on page one of this thread and if you are looking to catch up with us anywhere, other than KC, now would be a good time to let us know. What we get up to in the various places we visit is not set in concrete really so we are still open to a bit of "Hey come and meet us at blah pub" (where blah represents the name of a pub in any of the places we are actually visiting.) Gob and I do not plan on hiring a car or anything while we are there so we will be mostly at the mercy of public transport. Let us know by pmail in game if you want to catch up anywhere and we'll see what we can do about making it happen.

It looks like the wife and I are gonna make plans to visit family in Chicago around the time you're expected to be there. So long as her cousin in Texas doesn't show up with her newborn, we'll get a mini-con arranged. Or a mini-mini-con. Or we'll just meet up and have some beers.

So, it occurs to me that people may well be wanting to catch up with us while we're over there, although I can't for the life of me figure out why. Whatever the reason, we'd love to catch up with any Paracites who live near or can travel to any of the locations we'll be at.

There is an official meetup being planned in Missouri for the first weekend in October (expect a post from Grokly on this very soon if he hasn't already done it) but outside of that, we're very open to suggestions for one on one, or group, meetups anywhere we'll be if anyone wants to arrange it.

Bear in mind that we won't have access to any transport other than cabs (expensive) and public transport, so we can't really travel outside of the cities listed.

If you want to arrange something, just contact us in-game to set something up.

Sweet! Now we just have to figure out how to get you the last 60 miles or so, from the airport to the mysterious location of the actual meetup.

For anyone else planning to come, it may be necessary to make some special arrangements if multiple people are flying into KCI over those couple of days. Best thing to do is to let either myself or Grokly know as soon as possible, and we'll see what we can come up with.
