I've been thinking how often we see lots of criticisms and complaints about how things aren't going someone's way. This is not always a bad thing, just human nature. I've also been thinking that it is VERY important to express appreciation for things in words and try not to let that get caught in with criticisms or flames. (So says the guy who runs /flamewars. )

So what am I getting at? Another message board. This board is only for expressing appreciation, gratitude, etc for fellow Paracites. This can be anything like seeing someone do a good deed, someone giving you a nice birthday present, someone being there for you in a hard time, someone making you smile everyday or whatever.

The point is just to create some positive energy and let others know we value them.

So with that I will begin with three of my own somewhat general ones:

1) Thank you to the Devs who make this game what it is. They spend countless hours behind the scenes and make nothing doing it. This would be an empty game without them. The recent St. Patrick's Day content was awesome! My personal favorite item was probably the and the bonus after the fact really added a special and humorous touch. The leprechaun adventures had me laughing quite a bit. Thank you for everything guys, really.

2)Thank you to all my fellow mods. I greatly value working with all of you. I appreciate all you do to keep Paradox fun and am happy we are fortunate to have such an amazing group. I hope it continues for years to come.

3) And last but certainly not least, all the players. I enjoy all the many interactions we have and the value you all add to the community. Thanks for making this my favorite place on the internet. I do not kid you when I say I truly believe we have one of the best communities to be found anywhere and all of you are very integral in that. THANK YOU!!!

Huge thumbs up to everyone on the amazing content and time we all had on St. Pats... As i have told gobb many times some of the best one day content I have ever seen and drooling at what is to come... many many TY to all who worked on it and to all the players who made it a great time.....

I'm thankful for the Mexxichauns. Oh those silly Mexxichauns.

I don't even know where to begin.

I've made it no secret how much I love this game, even being as much of a newcomer as I am, I feel like what I say matters, I greatly enjoy chat, I anticipate with bated breath every update and all the new content, and I find myself quivering constantly with raucous laughter, a commodity of which you can never have too much.

It's a difficult task to narrow down exactly who it is that makes my day wonderful, but I can say that my every morning includes MrsO, and she's never, as far as I've seen, been in anything but a great mood. Invisible is always there to 'help a brother out', impy keeps my PMs interesting, Gobb makes me feel less weird for having used the European spellings for certain words my entire life, Spiff usually thinks I'm funny (which I GREATLY appreciate), and LG's obsession with Katy Perry makes me almost like her.

Any RFX DJ who I've had the pleasure of listening to has made it a pleasure to listen to them, the dev team continues to fail to disappoint, the wiki team is hard-working and thorough with their calculations, all the people in chat make the moderators' jobs easy, and the mods retaliate by being good-natured and un-suspicious.

That's what I've got off the top of my head.

I do like the idea of this, and i'd just like to thank everyone for putting up with my neuroses, erratic speeling, and attempts at humor. And for sometimes even laughing! Thanks, guys, we really do have the nicest game community it's ever been my pleasure to participate in.

I just want to thank everyone for listening to all of my exciting stories about the JazzyKitten when I was pregnant.
Now that he is actually here, you are all continuing to hear me out and it means a lot to me.

I was just wading thru the forums and I spotted this ol' thread. It caught my eye, cause I remember thinking "what a great Idea" it was, at the time it was first put up.......... I LOVE what it was ment to be, I lament that I didnt use it.

But gee this is handy. I have many and much to be thankful for in a paradox sense......

I love that Jazzy is soooo consistantly loving. Her approach to life and people is one of simple beauty.... I love the likes of Zammy, Cowboy, Mack and so many others that make time here "interesting" The easy to and fro and accessibility that paracites have enjoyed with dev/adin is unlike any other site Ive experianced. I feel welcome here EVERY time I log on...... there is always a friendly face around....... heh, you just cant buy that. I love the patiance that Troggy has shown me whilst I struggled to find my feet as a grape (and I did struggle)...... Im glad she fights for paradox. I love and appreciate the help and support I got for the BIG event on the 28th of this month.......its humbling. And on a VERY personal note, thanks to Wolfie, Ell, Gobb and Grok.....I cant count the times you all gave me confidence where I had none........

Ive left people out on paper, but I will get round to you....... count on it

Wiki spaders and game testers! Our "less visible" hero's!!

Yeah, they may get real neat stuff for their labours, but they dont get much spotlight time

But without em......... life would be ALOT tougher (and beta alot further away)

So thank you WIKI SPADERS and GAME TESTERS......... we all love you HEAPS and DO appreciate your efforts and contribution to the game.

Okay first off this was an excellent Idea. I know it has been said I don't know how many times before this posting, but I felt it had to be said again. My thanks are as follows....

1)Gob - this game you have created is excellent. Even though it seems incomplete I can see it will flower into an awesome game.

2)To Sallyfox - to whom which if it wasn't for you (in a round about way) I would not be here.

3) To Jazzy, Eboli, Rakkasan, Yarlith, Cherita, and Sallyfox for helping a lowly newbie.

4) To Sodafett and all the Radio DJs for their excellent broadcasting, rock on dudes and dudets.

5) To everyone that supports the game from the devs down to the ones that make donations. Thanks for keeping the game alive.

6) To everyone in chat simply for the awesome chat content. (Much better and friendlier than other unmentionable games).

7) Finally to everyone that plays. If it wasn't for you this game would probably not be possible.

I "appreciate" the site and the community within. I "appreciate" the chatters, the peoples that post stuff, the people that run games and competitions........ and all the peoples that make me smile for real.......

I "appreciate" pretty well all of you. Its amazing that this has remained an "asshat" free zone for sooo long....... I really "appreciate" that.

Never, EVER, doubt just HOW MUCH you are appreciated........

You people do far more than whats normally asked on other established sites....... much more.

I recently read chat logs, and saw something that made my blood BOIL!! BUT! It made me realise that mebbe a post like this is looong overdue.

Basicly, the person said that the mods here take themselves too seriously........ Harmless enough comment of course, but I chose to take umbarage...

Anyhoo........the thing is...you lot have been, simply put, just FUCKING AWESOME. I come on line and most of the time I see SOMEONE in chat..... usually a mod. Hell, its a tough gig sitting in an empty chat, but if one of us are there, the chances are, someone will jump in.....technically NOT our job as a rule, but it has been a constant pre beta ask, and Im really proud of the eff0rt by all........

And the events..... Whilst OFFICIAL holiday content hasnt been run (for the last 6 months or so) the mods have put on quality events every month to make up for that....... again, not a mods job to be site entertainers, but VERY needed to keep up community spirits. Without those events run by YOU people, the situation here at paradox would have been dire to say the least. You team of mods have kept the pulse of paradox alive and beating strongly....... along with our generally outstanding community

Our day in the sun at paradox is REALLY coming........ this in my heart of hearts I know to be true..... this is what we all have worked towards...... And before it does, I just wanted this "out there " You people have done much more than what would normally be expected of "a mod" The seniors and the dev team appreciate and aknowledge that without the "red" and their efforts, paradox wouldnt be what it is today....... READY TO TAKE ON TOMORROW!! Im so glad you people take your jobs seriously....
