I regret to advise you all that SportGuy has informed he that he no longer wants to be involved in moderating the Paradox chat and/or forums. The list has been updated accordingly.

And now for something pleasant... TROGDORable (aka BooBoo) has rejoined the ranks of Paradox Moderators after a short (but all too long IMO) break. Welcome back BooBoo

As a result of recent elections, the list has been updated again to show who the current Senior Moderators are.

Just a brief note to let everyone know that MasTechno has found himself unable to fulfil his role as Senior Moderator due to real-life commitments and has decided to resign his position. Mas will still be part of the Moderator group, but not Senior Mods.

We would definitely like to have a three person Senior Mod team, however, so we will do our best to fill that position asap.

In other news, eL_JoEy has also realised that he doesn't have the time available to be an effective Moderator, so has chosen to resign from the Moderator group.

On behalf of the Development Team of Paradox, I would like to say thank you to both Mas and Joey. Both of them have made a tough decision in acknowledging that real life is getting in the way of their commitment to Paradox.

Mas has been with us since the beginning. He is a core reason for why the senior moderator position exists. Whilst his life of late has made it pretty much impossible for him to even be online in PtM there was a time when he was in chat pretty much around the clock and I would even go so far as to say he is a key foundation of chat as we know it today. He has offered the dev team a great deal of support by testing new content, providing opinions and suggestions and even moral support. He is the original trader and whilst I know a number of other players now have a higher profile in this arena, Mas was definitely at the foreground of establishing /trade. Having spoken to him face-to-face, at Paracon 2009, all devs know the true passion that Mas has for our game and can imagine that it was hard for him to admit that he can no longer give his role the time it needs and deserves. We look forward to seeing him continue in his role as chat moderator and wish him all the best of luck with his current career directions.

Joey has also been an avid supporter of Paradox for quite some time. He always used to be online just before and just after intermission, without fail. His presence at these times helped build our chat community because there was always someone around at this 'witching hour' for people to talk to. Joey has seen many faces come and go and has been a friend to all of them. His current position at number 5 on the respect leaderboard, despite his inability to log on of late, is proof of this.

The Dev Team wish both of these contributors to Paradox all the best in their real life endeavors and thank them for the commitment that they have shown the game in the past and the contributions they have made to make it what it is today.

Further to my earlier announcement, I'm very pleased to announce that Spiff has been offered the vacant Senior Moderator position and she has chosen to accept the responsibility.

Please join me in welcoming her to our now all-female (and therefore totally awesome) Senior Moderator group!

The more astute among you may notice a couple of names have been removed. There's no story behind it, just regular cleanup of inactive moderators.

Due to real life commitments, Trogdorable is currently not able to give the time she'd like to be able to give to the game, and has temporarily stepped aside from Senior Moderator duties. Awwww. We all hope she'll be back soon.

In the meantime, I'm very happy to announce that UnknownZ has chosen to step up to join the Senior Mod group. Welcome aboard, Princess Lurk!

Note: UnknownZ is not a "temporary" senior mod. It's definitely a permanent thing and (in my opinion) long overdue. When and if Trog returns from hiatus... well, I guess we'll have four senior mods. I'm sure we'll cope.

Well, unfortunately Desdinova has some pressing real life issues that have prevented him from being able to live up to the whole "Moderator" thing, and is no longer a Paradox mod. Maybe some day...

In the meantime, our old friend... by which I mean our friend of long standing, not our friend who is old... because I'd hate to be ageist and... er... anyway.... Rakkasan has stepped up to the plate and is fully prepared to take a curve ball in the gentleman's department for us as a Moderator.

Just a note......

Dad stepped down as a mod because his time doesnt currently allow him to fufill his duties, and is not sure about his future time commitments. I look at Dad like one of our founding fathers, and am sad to see him step down, but proud that, as usual, he considered the site ahead of himself. Big shoes to fill...........
