Paradox! 2009 Christmas Party
I am happy to announce that this year we will be holding the Paradox! 2009 Christmas party and get together in /social starting at 4:30pm game time (which is 1:00pm, Sunday 20th December AEDST and 8:00pm, Saturday December 19th CST).
I will personally be holding a number of Cash Grabs, maybe some CAS Grabs and drawing the winners of a 24 hour major prize AR. Tickets for the AR will become available the day before the party and more details about this particular feature of the Christmas Party will follow soon. I am also happy to supply prizes and moolah for other people who may wish to run some games during the event.
I will also be running a the Paradox! Pressie Swap again, which is Secret Santa style gift giving fun. People participating in the Paradox! Pressie Swap will have their gifts delivered during the Christmas Party. For more information on the Paradox! Pressie Swap see here
Stay tuned for more details and don't forget to mark the date on your calendar, diary, pda, forehead, whichever works for you.

Ok, I thought it was time for a bit of an update. Pressie Swap registrations are coming along nicely and you still have a few days to get them to me if you haven't done so yet.
I have also been having a bit of a chat with Santa, that's right... the big guy and I are on speaking terms, and he has told me that he has been keeping an eye on Paracites this year and believes that we all deserve a special visit from him. He's planning on dropping by during the Christmas Party and, from what I can gather, has quite a stash of goodies to give away.
That's about all I have to mention at this stage. As more news comes to hand, I will be sure to let you all know.

Oh! He must be a south pole elf.Impalix wrote:SANTAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I KNOW HIM!

Edit: On a side note, it appears I will more likely than not be unable to make the party due to unfortunate timing (ie I'll be on a plane).

2am sometimes I feel unloved
Re: Paradox! 2009 Christmas Party
Well last year we held an after party party immediately after intermission. We can potentially do the same thing again.

Re: Paradox! 2009 Christmas Party
Damn the only day where I will be out
Re: Paradox! 2009 Christmas Party
Time for another update I think...
- All pressie swap pressies are in and waiting to be delivered.
- Santa's sack is full to the point of possibly flowing over with many goodies for all the Paracites who attend the party.
- I will be starting a 24 hour AR in my store soon that will be drawn a couple of hours into the Christmas Party. I'm not telling you what the prize will be yet, keep your eye on my store for more info.
- There are only 3 sleeps left until the party!!!

Party tomorrow night!
Re: Paradox! 2009 Christmas Party
I just thought I'd take a minute to say a great big thank you to everyone who joined us for the party and to those who continued to party on with us after intermission.
I would also like to say thanks to all of those people who hosted games, by no means the least of which being santa_claus who was hard at the gaming for hours.
Thanks to everyone who joined in the Pressie Swap! I couldn't have run it without you.
I, personally, have had a great day and quite a few laughs as well.
Happy Yule Festivities Paracites!

Weird, they weren't in the gutter with me when I woke up. Guess we'll never know
