Amazing Rocking Horse

Chat effect doesn't work... IDK if it doesn't work when you have other effects on or if it just doesn't work anymore. Ill post more when I have more to post.

Just with ARH on...

I definitely saw it pop off a couple times in others channels. I'm thinking either
1. It doesn't work in /wiki
2. It doesn't work on either very short or very rapid messages, as a spamguard or
3. Insane luck

Nah, what you saw was Senora Shakes, not the rocking horse.

How does this demonstrate that the ARH's chat effect doesn't work? Given how the ARH chat effect works, typing "." repeatedly is NEVER going to activate it, so what's the point of this?

I just tested the ARH chat effect, both alone and in combination with the new Senora Shakes chat effect, and it seems fine to me. I'm not going to paste my test results in here because that seems unnecessary, but trust me - it still activates exactly when it's supposed to.

The wiki claims it "sometimes adds chat messages" but doesn't actually give further information, so I suspect there's actually a lack of understanding as to how the ARH actually works.

Let's brainstorm. What triggers it? Horse? Lemonade? Amazing? Get on my horse woman?

OK, so would it be accurate to say that it only activates when it "replaces" "naughty" words? AKA: Bastard = "Bastage"?

You're on the right track, but the ARH doesn't replace anything. That's the game's inbuilt swear filter which is either on or off depending on the viewer's preferences.

Yeah, It meant the swear filter, but I can see how anyone would think ARH the way that sentence reads.

Heh, just remember that chat effects get added when the sender of the message creates their message (so that everyone sees the same thing), whereas the swear filter activates only when the viewer sees the message *if* the viewer has that option turned on.
