I tried to move the Fantsy Dress outfit components (antennaed safety helmet, ant's pants, and armour-plated ant abdomen) from my backpack to my stash, but these components are not listed under Backpack (or in any other location) in the Manage Items interface. I definitely have all three items in my inventory.

I searched the forums to see if this has been mentioned before, but did not find anything about it.

this is because items that are classified as needed for a quest cannot be placed into your stash anymore.... with the addition of reset restrictions to the game if someone on accident placed in item like Fantsy Dress into there SC before killing the Ant Queen it would ruin there Quest progression and make it so someone like Gobb would have to go in and return them to your back pack.... also when you reset all these items like this simply disappear from your inventory to be found again in your next life

Correct. Some items can not be stored for various reasons as mentioned by Invis, usually because they're special items that must be obtained once per reset.

If you're ever unsure, click the item in your inventory and check the details. If it says "Can NOT be stored", that's why it doesn't show in the list.
