Paradox Poetry Journal

Unread post by Grokly » Sat Mar 19, 2011 9:10 pm

So I have discovered that there are many Paracites who are adept at poetry. Seems only fitting that there be a topic devoted to those who would humble themselves to offering up their bits of rhyme for the pleasure (or derision) of fellow gamers. Hence, the Paradox Poetry Journal.

It matters not the meter.
It matters not the rhyme.
If you have the talent,
We have got the time.

Offer up your best.
The only rule? It must be Paradox themed.

To start it out, a limerick!

When dealing with things that seem tragic,
'tis time to rely on the magic.
O'Rly has left
But our players are deft
And April brings things quite dysphagic.

It has to be Paradox themed? I'd better go code up a zone that rhymes with "Nantuckett" :)

I don't have much talent,
I don't know how to rhyme,
But on Paradox! The Musical
I still don't.

The FlyBoy BadAss Paradox Rap

Like a philistine full of e-peen, licking cheap cream
I chuck my half-rhymes like cheap crimes, claiming mind games

I'm a speeding dinosaur
The new velociraptor

A free thinker
The philosoraptor

Mistaeks don't make me cry
I fixem on the fly

If I say something twice
I shout it louder twice

When I flew my crew to Nantucket
The peeps turned blue an blew my shit

They called for me to crawl, an take a fall
I lol'ed the hall, "Yo! I'm better'n all y'all!"

Cause I'm FlyBoy BadAss, an I dont miss a trick
If you think my rap is crap, it's because you're thick

I told the gathered crowd "Go rot in Hell!"
An left em all to catch a musical

A Paracite showed me Paradox
Where I bashed Reeferchauns with my socks
