Forums! The Musical

I'm not asking that you implement it (because I want you to focus on Beta), but was just wondering if it would be possible: Could it be coded that if someone responds to a forum post that you could receive an in-game notification about it?

I would think so, in the same sense that a tablet can alert you that it is your turn in a game... but that would be a coding nightmare; and either the player would have to link their forum account to their user account or you would need to be actively logged into the forums while in game, for it to detect recent activity.

Yeah that would be a lot of work for little gain

There is currently no link between the forum and the game at all, so no.. that's not possible at the moment.

Some day, if the community wants the forum to be linked directly to the game, then that might be a thing, but I would prefer to keep it separate right now.

That's fine and dandy with me. I think you answered my original question to my satisfaction well enough.
