Abillity to remove devices

Unread post by heliosa10 » Wed Jan 21, 2009 3:02 pm

We should have the ability to remove devices as it is tedious to reset to remove them.

I guess, still some people aren't as decisive and there are occasions when you wish you could easily remove your devices, like as of just today and yesterday when I wanted to remove my joke machine to trade with a undisclosed user.

Think of it like a skill that you get from the device that you get and then can't give away then you will accept it :)

I guess. Still, It NEVER said anything about devices being almost permanent. And now I want to remove one without losing my stats....

You do realize that all devices are removed and need to be re-installed upon reset.

I know. Part of my argument is that there should be a easier way

Once they are installed they are permanent unless you reset, I think that is always how it is supposed to be, just like all the Libram etc. on KOL. I have a feeling they wont change what they did on purpose. :)

Okay. Still, I think a warning could help. Since I basically had no idea that they're permanent.

Moving forward, devices, once installed, will not be able to be uninstalled under any circumstances, even after reset. The "normal" devices will be destroyed on reset, and things like the RCJG, Spirit Dispenser etc. will just stay installed. Like the Libram etc. on KoL. I haven't implemented that yet, but it'll be coming.

When it happens, it'll just happen so... there's your warning.
