Holopets saved with custom outfits

Unread post by Cowboy » Sun Dec 13, 2009 2:49 pm

I would like active holopets to be saved in outfits. If you don't want your active holopet to be saved in the outfit you'd have to unequip it.

Good idea I guess but technically no outfit will require a certain holopet and they aren't really equipped so I'm on the line about the usefulness of this one.

I would not like to see anything like that done.... as a speed runner my holopet is based on my current game needs and in no way reflects the gear I am using.... and it just Reeks of laziness in my mind

Diag, I don't know if you understood me, but I meant custom outfits. Maybe it could be an option (have holopets saved in custom outfits. Right now it doesn't seem very useful but when we get 50+ holopets it will be helpful.

Your gear doesn't reflect your current game needs? What?

the gear doesn't reflect current game needs in the same way as a holopet does...it makes sense. Also, I don't think it's useful now, but I could see it being useful in the future...I vote for putting it on the long list of things to do AFTER alpha.

Reset isn't the only part of the game. For Item Farming Sets and Moolah Farming Sets it would save time, which is why I think it should be added, with an option to disable it (or enable it, however you look at it), because some people seem opposed to it.

Invis: You've pretty much given everyone your recommendation for the optimum way to speed through a reset. Yeah, that's spoilery. I've added spoiler tags.

Cowboy: Sounds like this option isn't in high demand and there are conflicting opinions about just how useful it would be and it would definitely need to be an optional thing. Still, I've put it on the list for us to look into further as a matter of VERY low priority.
