Also, get ready for new updates and content.

First off, thanks for the kindness and words of encouragement. Secondly, don't get TOO excited. I was under the influence of some adult beverages at the time of the announcement and I may have overhyped it. I just got home from a 4 day out-of-state vacation event and looking back at my post even I think it's a bit over the top. Looking to hopefully get a bit of new content and may be some new items to play around with for the Event, depending on what kind of time Gobb has to throw stuff together. Like I said, this was very short notice.

I don't think there's enough time to pump this up to epic proportions, but I'm sure I can throw together some goodie bags for those that show up and Showcase some chat prizes in Pandora.

For now, it looks like the Event will run from Thursday evening around 5-6 pm until late Friday (Eastern US times), so all-in-all about 30 hours. I'll try to be in chat as much as my job and RL will allow me.

Here's a better regional breakdown: (please correct me if any of this information is wrong)
US: Thursday 5-6 pm - Friday late
UK: Thursday 10-11 pm - Saturday early am
AU: Friday 7-8 am - Saturday afternoon

Well, overall I think it was somewhat of a success. Unfortunately I worked late both Thursday and Friday and then we had an impromptu camping/canoeing trip with my sister Friday night (just got home now) so I wasn't able to be in chat nearly as much as I was hoping.

I promise I'll make it up to all who attended by getting some "Thank you" packages sent out as soon as I can get to it. Or maybe Sally will be a dear and do it for me. ;)

Thanks again to all who attended!

The next one will be more planned-out with a longer preparation time.

I plan on going through the chat logs (hopefully before they're purged) and hook up everyone that logged on and joined chat during the event. Give me time. I will get to it. Got several other more pertinent things on my plate at the moment. Sorry.
