In the last couple of months, we've had a few spammers that have taken to randomly signing up and quoting snippets of other people's posts from ancient topics. The point seems to be to make you look at their signatures, which are full of links to stuff they want to sell you.
After investigation, it looks like these are actual people, not bots, and that all the accounts come from the same IP range in Pakistan. So, I've just banned the entire IP range, deleted all the posts, and hopefully it should stop.
If there are any more of these, please do not, I repeat DO NOT, engage. Just report the post and a moderator will take care of it.
