This is not a post I wanted or expected to ever have to write, but I have to share some terrible, awful, no-good very bad news...
My good friend, co-founder and developer of Paradox! The Musical, radio DJ and mentor Albert Garlin (Grokly) Engler passed away late yesterday following a long illness.
He was unwell for quite some time, but he was a very private man, and asked that it not be publicised. I have respected his wishes, but I think he would forgive me for telling you now.
I don't have a lot to say right now... this has really hit me hard, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
RIP brother. I'll miss you more than you could imagine.
Farewell Grokly :(

Re: Farewell Grokly :(
Thanks guys.
Grokly has been a huge part of my life over the past ten years, and a critical member of this game. His loss leaves a huge hole to be filled, both personally and... well, I suppose professionally, such as it is.
We will be holding a memorial chat/radio event this Friday night (US time) where we can share stories, reminisce and generally get soused. Sooo... if you can make it, I'd love to see you there.

I'll likely be unable to make it on-line tonight, but The Lads will be there. They want to say goodbye and have been busy putting up some memorial messages in town.
