Re: Thumbs up
All I have to say is:
"Display Emoticons: [ ]"
I'm sure if you linked or submitted your own chat-sized icons, Gobb would consider it. Knock yourself out.

Re: Thumbs up
We need this on the forums
edit: to clarify, I meant on people's posts. if you like it, +1 it, if you don't, -1. This would be helpful so when someone makes a good suggestion and you like it, but have nothing to add, you can +1 it. Also, if someone makes a funny post I don't have to say "That post was so funny", I can just +1 it.

Re: Thumbs up
Meh, PHPBB is what it is. Not interested in rewriting it. If anyone knows of a plugin that does that, though (eg. a Like/Dislike plugin for individual posts, rather than a poll for a whole topic), let me know and I'll consider adding it.
Re: Thumbs up
All I know is there is a similar system on the League of Legends forums, such as in this example of a slightly unpopular post http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board/sh ... p?t=668640
Maybe you can just copy their way of doing it? I don't know, just trying to be useful lol

Re: Thumbs up
Moreso than +1ing messages, or maybe in addition to, there could be a "Thanks" system like what I've seen on some other message boards. If you post something useful, helpful, or whatever, the reader can give you a point that is displayed under your avatar.

There's that "just" again. Tell me exactly what they're using and, if it's available for PHPBB I'll consider it. Otherwise, shhhhh.

Re: Thumbs up
Mass moderation plugin sounds pretty amazing actually. What a shame that it's not even up to an Alpha version yet and, according to the author:
"I already knew that 0.1.0dev version was completely bugged, but I forgotten to remove the download link. then, don't try 0.1.0 version!"
That's from a week ago though, so it sounds like it's something that MIGHT be available in a few months. Maybe.
Anything else?
