Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing
I make an effort to pop in every day or so, burning turns in the hopes that someone else will do the same. Maybe get an impromptu chat event going.

Since I couldn't find the forum for Toothless, I want to ask that everyone's thoughts and prayers go out to his family as they are grieving a bit harder today, 7/22 as today would have been his 50th birthday.
RIP Toothless.

I will pop in occasionally and I hope the community is still alive in 4 years!

Hmmmm, the prattle doesnt seem as daily as it once was............
Funny, in light of the past month.........more so considering the pending months ahead.
Do you think that FB has replaced the community forum? what can one do to make community more relevent to the here and now and possibly future..........? Is there a hero out there? Do we need one?
Can we at least talk about lycra?

...Lordy and the lads leap into the forums, clad in day-go lycra Underoos.
LC has a life-sized cross-Atlantic cable wrapped around his "What's a Facebook?" t-shirt and is dressed as The Mighty Marconi.
Paulie is sporting a working radio antenna/generator hat and is dressed as Radio Xangaka.
Caoimhin appears as a Lucas-inspired bounty hunter and is DJ SodaMan.
The three attempt to dance through the forums, singing The Time Warp, but end up
rolling on the floor, in fits of incoherent giggling.

Personal bad-boy Bacchanalian buffooneries be beyond bouncing back perkily, or so say my learned grapes. And loudly at it too, articulate i awkwardly, in very brightly coloured linguistics indeed. Them things have been trouble since the day they first learned to speak. Still, their words are not entirely without wisdom and so, perhaps I really should make an effort to listen moer attentively, when the local dipsomaniacally inspired boutique is hosting heavy discounts to facilitate a general stock exchange.

Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing
That's a fine and generous notion and Lord knows the Nepalese need it. Anyone whose conscience is calling them to divert their funds would be blessed in doing so, but this may not be the best place to suggest it.
Think in terms of the local shop you like (the nice one, not that grubby half-lost hole of a dump with the back of the dusty shelf looking out the window). It's convenient, has a welcoming atmosphere and neighbour-like staff but, in the ocean of commercial alternatives available, the business is struggling to earn enough revenue to remain solvent. With all the deserving calls for help that exist, such heart-felt pleas direct to its custom could result in the local shop experience becoming a trip to the supermarket on the number 17 bus.

Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing
I get where you're coming from and my request was poorly and hastily worded... but I think there are a lot of people who like the idea of donating, but then don't actually commit to it if they don't perceive a direct benefit. Something like 50/50 or even 75/25 Paradox/Nepal could incentivize people to give money while not hurting Paradox's in-game economy, and probably raising more donations for Paradox than they are currently receiving (few)

Good on you cowboy, like many folk full of cheeses, you offer up an an ambrosial serving of health, hope and inclusion.
Caoimhin and Paulie groan at their Uncle's cheesy audacity, grab a couple of Rainy Day Jars and head off to Mr Notlob's Emporium to further discuss the matter with their compatriots.

Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing
We had us some Radio Xangaka roKK 'N roLL tonight with DJ Soda. Caoimhin and Paulie are always agog with The Excitement when "Mr DJ Soda" regails us with his musical ruminations. Jinxsta was there and Spiff, cowboy, and Ah'm sure someone else too, i feel im missing a name but just now its 4AM on teh night shift, I'm all caffeined up/sleep deprived and mah brAINz is boggled while I await my mid-night shift second-wind. Sorry, if'n you'se was there too, I will recall when normal thoughts return to me.
Soda was in g00dly disk spinning form and playing to the crowd. roKK 0n!
Caoimhin, Paulie, qwerty, Shawn and Trogdorable conga'd, hopped, twisted, jived, jazzed and danced through the the genres and when it all ended, they decended on The Veggie Patch to raid its larder for Milkshakes and a good 'ol milkshake sipping apres-chilloutz session till sun-up, while the older folk all slipped off to their various beds/ sleep-depriving activities
an an o ah' hit compsputer somthin or other slowdown i don know. This iswhhot you get/ hope it makes sense. I'm off forra walk, shake my head awke
Wee! Cheers!

Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing
(Lordy tip-toes through Sallyfox’s garden, through her tulips, by the moonlight, round the lily tree and perches on her window-sill. He curls his lips into not-at-all uber-creepy happy-folds and with a scary-quiet loud-whisper, shrilly forces forth a warble of impossibly high falsetto, reciting Tiny Tim’s most famous musical rendition.)
Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing

Re: Paradox Prattle........ its a daily thing
Lordy and The Lads spend a whole morning, well, um... at least a whole three-quarters of an hour crafting together a trio of Church Of The Gobb mitre hats and Gobb Slob T-shirts. They lead a merry protest in front of the Wessonian Museum, prodding and poking the swirling mists with their pluralistipumpkaloustastical placards.
"UP WITH THE PASGETTI MUNSTER"
"DOWN WITH NORMS"
"RELISH THE GOURD"
Wee! Wee! Wee!
